Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • No cancellations or refunds since the items are digital and can be instantly downloaded anytime.
  • Even if the buyer hasn’t downloaded the file, the order won’t be cancelled or refunded.
  • If you accidentally purchased the item thinking this was a physical item, the order won’t be cancelled or refunded.
  • If you accidentally purchased the same item more than once, then I can’t provide you with a refund for it. So before buying, please make sure to check that you haven’t already bought the same item before.
  • The prices are subject to change without notice. Also sometimes I may offer discounts and sales occasionally. So please purchase the item when it’s selling at low prices. I can’t give you a discount or refund once the sale is over.
  • If there are any issues with the products, then contact me and I will try my best to resolve the issue.

Some words by the Artist

Hello, I’m Ankita Raut. I’m a self-taught artist. I learnt to draw and paint by watching other people do it in real life and on YouTube. I have been selling my artwork on Etsy since 2015 but now I want to sell on my own website. Since I have experience selling my artwork on Etsy, I know all the basics of selling online. But still, I’m new to this journey.
I understand the importance of money and will make sure you’re happy with your purchase. But please remember I can’t provide refunds for shipping since I don’t have extra funds as the big corporations do. If there is a mistake on my part then I will take full responsibility for it but if there is an issue on the buyer’s side, then the buyer would need to take some responsibility for it. Please read all of the policies written below to get the details.
I will be happy to take custom orders and make products according to your needs and liking. I will also make some products from my own imagination. So the products are divided into 2 groups:

Pre-made products: The products which I make from my imagination and liking. I will regularly be making these products. These products will be visible to everyone and can be purchased by anyone.

Custom-made products: The products which I will specially create for the buyer from their imagination and liking. These will be private products which will only be visible to the buyer who ordered that product and me. I will start creating the custom product after the buyer pays the non-refundable advanced booking fees.

Return Policy

  1. If the product gets damaged by the buyer, then the product cannot be returned.
  2. For *Custom-made products, the buyer cannot return the products if they later change their mind and don’t want the products anymore.
  3. For *Pre-made products, the buyer can return the products if they later change their mind and don’t want the products anymore. But they will have to pay for the return shipping and make sure to return the products in the original packaging, in good condition. A refund won’t be provided if the product is damaged by the buyer or the shipping service they chose.
  4. If the buyer doesn’t collect the product when delivered to them, then the product is returned back to us by the postal service. But the buyer won’t receive a full refund once the product is returned back to us. (Please check the refund policy to know more details about this.)
  5. If the buyer purchased the wrong product or the wrong size, then they will have to pay for the return shipping and make sure to return the products in the original packaging, in good condition. A refund won’t be provided if the product is damaged by the buyer or the shipping service they chose.
  6. If the buyer provides a wrong or insufficient address and
    1. If the product is unclaimed and returned back to us and the buyer wants the product, then they have to update the shipping address and repay the shipping price.
    2. If the product is unclaimed and returned back to us and the buyer doesn’t want the product, then they will not get a refund for the shipping price. Also,
      1. the buyer will get a refund for Pre-made products.
      2. the buyer will not get a refund for custom-made products.
    3. If the product is claimed and/or is not delivered back to us, then no refund will be provided. (In such cases, please contact the postal service to know more details about the package.)

Things to do when returning an item

  1. The buyer has to contact me and discuss the issues with the product. Once the problems are verified, then the buyer can return the product. If the buyer returns the product without discussing it with me then a refund won’t be provided.
  2. The item must be unused and in the exact same condition, as the buyer received it.
  3. The item must be sent in the original packaging.
  4. The item needs to be sent with the invoice or proof of purchase.
  5. The buyer has to return the item on their own and has to pay for the shipping costs while returning the item.
    1. If the buyer received the wrong or damaged products, then we will provide you with money for the shipping cost for returning the product, after the product is delivered to us. (Please give photo evidence of the shipping bill to claim the money.) And we will ship the buyer the correct product for free.
    2. If the buyer received the correct product in good condition, then the shipping cost won’t be refunded.
  6. Please don’t return the products if (No refund will be provided in these cases)
    1. It is a custom order and the buyer received the correct product in good condition.
    2. The buyer damaged the product.
  7. Please make sure to ship with tracking, so both buyer and us can locate where the product is. If the shipping is untracked and we didn’t receive the product, then a refund won’t be provided.
  8. Please return the products within the due date. If the due date has passed, then a refund won’t be provided.

For orders from India: You have 7 business days to return the products from the date you received it.
For International orders: You have 30 business days to return the products from the date you received it.

Refunds

Refunds are manually approved. So if you want a refund, then please contact me and I will approve and process the refund. Also, Refund Policies are different for *Pre-made products and *Custom-made products:

Pre-made Products

  • A full refund will be provided if the buyer cancels the order before the products are booked for shipping.
  • The buyer can return the products if they later change their mind and don’t want the products anymore. But they will have to pay for the return shipping.
  • No refund will be provided if the product is damaged by the buyer or the shipping service they chose.
  • If the product is returned in good condition, then a refund will be provided only for the product. Shipping costs won’t be refunded.
  • If the buyer doesn’t collect the product when delivered to them, then the product is returned back to us by the postal service. Then a refund will be provided only for the product. Shipping costs won’t be refunded.
  • If the buyer receives the wrong or damaged products, then we will provide you with money for the shipping cost for returning the product, after the product is delivered to us. First, the buyer has to return the item on their own and have to pay for the shipping costs while returning the item. Then provide us photo evidence of the shipping bill to claim the money. We will ship the buyer the correct product for free (if they had received the wrong product). If the buyer had received a damaged product, then a full refund will be provided after the product is delivered back to us.
  • No refund will be provided if the buyer falsely claims they received a damaged product.
  • No refund will be provided if the products were accidentally or intentionally damaged by the buyer.

Custom-made Products

  • No money will be taken for enquiring about custom orders.
  • The buyer has to pay non-refundable advanced booking fees before I start making your product.
  • The non-refundable advanced booking fee is 20% of the cost of the product.
  • I will make a rough sketch and start with basic painting. If the customer is happy with the progress so far, then they have to pay remaining amount of painting + shipping fees before I continue with the painting.
  • If the buyer decides to not move forward with the order and cancel it while in the early process of making the product, then the advanced booking fee won’t get refunded.
  • The custom order fees once paid are non-refundable. But I will make sure the buyer is happy with the product they receive.
  • The buyer has to pay the full amount before the product is shipped.
  • If the buyer doesn’t collect the product when delivered to them, then the product is returned back to us by the postal service. But a refund won’t be provided since this is a custom-made product. If the buyer wants the product, then they have to repay for reshipping the product to them.
  • If the buyer receives the wrong or damaged products, then we will provide you with money for the shipping cost for returning the product, after the product is delivered to us. First, the buyer has to return the item on their own and have to pay for the shipping costs while returning the item. Then provide us photo evidence of the shipping bill to claim the money. We will ship the buyer the correct product for free (if they received the wrong product). If the buyer had received a damaged product, then a full refund will be provided after the product is delivered back to us.
  • No refund will be provided if the buyer falsely claims they received a damaged product.
  • No refund will be provided if the products were accidentally or intentionally damaged by the buyer.

Cancellations

For Pre-made products, if the buyer wishes to cancel their order, then it should be done before the item gets shipped. If the item is already booked for shipping, then the order cannot be cancelled.
Custom orders can be cancelled before shipping but a full refund won’t be provided. Digital downloads cannot be cancelled after purchase.

Exchanges

We don’t offer exchanges, so please make sure to order the correct item and size.
